Pendrive means bootable, such a pendrive that allows us to format our computer. And install a new operating system. So in today's blog, we will know how to make pendrive bootable through commands. By the way, there are many software through which pendrive can also be bootable. If for some reason you do not have that software, then in such condition you will be able to do your work by booting the Pendrive.
So let's know how to make pendrive bootable through a command.
To make pendrive bootable through the command follow the following steps.
1. First of all install the pendrive in the computer.
2. Now open the RUN command by pressing the Window + R button from your keyboard.
3. Now write cmd in it and press enter. Which will open the command prompt window.
4. Now enter diskpart in it and enter it. Which will open a new command line window.

1. Type a list disk in it. As soon as you type a list disk, all the drives in the computer, such as hard disk and pendrive, will become its list show. This list will come as Disk 0 or Disk 1. Looking at the space of your pendrive from this, we will select your pendrive. Now if disk 1 is for pendrive then after that type us select disk 1 and press enter. Now disk 1 will be selected.2.After that, enter by writing clean. After that enter enter partition primary.
3. Now enter select partition 1 by typing.
4. If we want to format, for that we have to enter by typing format fs = NTFS quick.
5. Our Pendrive has become Bootable, but to activate it, you have to enter the last command by typing active. After that, you have to come out of the command prompt by typing exit. As shown in the photo below.
6. Now whatever OS setup file we have, copy it to your pendrive. So that your pendrive will be bootable for that OS and you will be able to format your computer.
So in this way we can make our pendrive bootable even without third party bootable software. In which command prompt is used.
